Woodenbong Progress Association (WPA) is a not-for-profit community organisation made up of volunteers with aims to assist Woodenbong by way of small community projects, such as the half basketball court, skate park and outdoor gym for our children, mowing the local council grounds so Woodenbong always has a well kept appearance, maintaining the Camping Grounds and running community events to fund community requests for support and assistance. Please Note: WPA is not a small business association and operates only at a community level. New members and visitors are always welcome. Meetings are held at the Golf Club on the 1st Tuesday of the month. AGM is held in March each year.

Campdraft Committee
Woodenbong Campdraft Association Inc. Runs the annual campdraft event. Woodenbong Rodeo Club Ltd. Ladies Auxillary.
Caters for the Campdraft Association events and visiting rodeo events. Proceeds donated to local causes.

RSL Sub-Branch
Manages the upkeep of the Woodenbong RSL War Memorial Hall.  Meets occasionally 5 or 6 times a year.

Woodenbong Central School P & C
Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) brings the school community together. Parents, teachers and community members can help meet the needs of the school community and contribute to decisions about the school. The P&C also raises funds that help finance improvements to our school and provide additional resources.

Woodenbong Craft Group
Meets every Monday 9.30am– 1pm  at Woodenbong Golf Club. $2 per meeting includes coffee/tea – please bring a plate to share at morning tea. People can work on their own projects, exchange ideas or simply have a good talk. Occassional workshops.

Woodenbong Tennis Club Inc.
Reformed in 1992, the Tennis Club combined with the Central School to upgrade the school’s asphalt court to an all-weather artificial grass surface with lighting. The club also makes use of an internal court in the school’s sports stadium. Plans the tennis competitions for local players. Court hire available. Phone:

“Best Little Golf Club on the North Coast”
The golf club is the only licensed club in Woodenbong, providing a focal point for the community with all the usual club facilities. The 9-hole golf course has a challenging and interesting layout, with separate tees to extend it to 18 holes, as well as being framed by a magnificent scenic outlook of mountain ranges, and the cheapest fees on the North Coast. Open 7 days. Club services limited trading hours. Dining: Friday evening 6pm.

Woodenbong Swimming Pool
The council-owned swimming pool has both a covered “kiddies” pool and a 4-lane, 25 metre pool which is well-used by the Woodenbong Swimming Club, local schools and community members.

HOY games and raffles to raise money for the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service. Held 1st Monday of every month at the Woodenbong RSL Memorial Hall at 10am.
